If you love the animals and you care about them and you are thinking of going to Greece, well.. then maybe you have to think about it once more. Greece is one of the worst countries in animal abuse. Animals in Greece suffer terrible fates. Everyday, cats, dogs, pets, strays, domesticated animals and wild animals, are being tortured and die unimaginable deaths in every corner of this country. People don't care about animals, government doesn't care about animals, authorities don't care about the animals. Here you can see some - totally real – incidents that happened in Greece recently.





This dog was shot to death at the island of Lefkada.










This is a tragic dog. Some weeks ago he was hooked with a metal object, tied up at the back of a car, and dragged at the streets of Crete until he was dead.









This is another stray dog from Crete, wandering in the streets of the island with his leg infected until he died, because nobody bothered to take care of it.












At Lesvos last week acid was thrown to the face of this peaceful dog.

This dog is one of the thousands that are being poisoned every year in the city of Larisa.
